Day Clinic

As the only clinic of its kind in Germany, the Day Clinic at the Center ÜBERLEBEN has been treating refugees from all over the world since 2003. These persons have been deeply traumatized through torture or civil war violence and require further treatment than that provided by the outpatient facility.

Since the joint founding with the Schlosspark Clinic, the intercultural range of treatments have been continually improved and expanded. Further, interpreters who have been specially trained for therapeutic assistance, support the treatment.

Since January 2008, the Day Clinic has been working in cooperation with the Campus Charité Mitte – Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. Andreas Heinz.
