Immediate Out-Patient Help for Adults

For those who have experienced violent conflicts or war, life is not the same as before. The memories haunt our patients, sometimes they cannot sleep, have high tension or live in a state of constant fear. They suffer from pain or feel depressed, and: they often have the feeling, that they cannot speak with anyone about that which they have experienced.

We treat persons who have been exposed to persecution and torture, or wartime violence, and suffer as a consequence of these experiences. People come to us from many different cultures and regions of the world, and we support them in coping with the emotional and physical consequences of the violence that they have experienced.

Our team of medical doctors, social workers and therapists provides victims of severe human rights violations with the following services free of charge

  • Medicinal and psychological diagnosis
  • Social counselling and support
  • Medical and psychotherapeutic treatment (individual and group sessions)

Interpreters are also available to assist our staff and patients in communication
